Why do people get a spray tan?
Many people simply don't have the time to bake in the sun to achieve a dark tan. Our top of the line spray-on tanning solution and equipment delivers a believable, non orange, natural-looking tan without the harmful effects of the sun or the tanning bed!
How long does a spray tan last?
Depending on a person's activities and skin type, the tan lasts approximately 5 to 7 days (up to 10 for some people). We also sell pro-long color extending moisturizers and touch up sprays with DHA to maintain your tan.
Is spray tanning safe?
Our products have aloe, white tea, and DHA which has been used in the cosmetic industry for over 30 years and was listed with the FDA in 1973. It is declared safe and suitable for use in cosmetics used to color the skin. DHA is derived from glycerin (sugar beets), which is commonly used as a cosmetic ingredient. DHA reacts to skin cells found on your outer layer of skin. If pregnant or considering becoming pregnant always consult your doctor first.
Can I still get a UV tan in addition to my spray tan?
Yes, just remember that spray tanning does not provide any sunscreen protection, so you should apply sunscreen accordingly.
How long should I wait after the application before I can shower or sweat?
We recommend 8 to 12 hours(2-5 hours for a rapid tan) for best results doing a warm water rinse. soap can destroy the DHA process in the first 24 hours. After first shower, pat skin dry with towel and moisturize everyday twice a day.
How can I minimize exfoliation from hot tubs, swimming pools and the ocean after my tanning session?
After your tan has developed (8-12 hours) and after your first shower, you can minimize water activity exfoliation by liberally and frequently applying a good, strong waterproof sunscreen prior to submerging yourself.
Will the tanning solution stain my clothes?
The solution will wash off your skin after your first post-tan shower. But until then, the colors added to the solutions may stain some fabrics (for example, nylon, silk, wool and polyester). However, a good soaking in water will usually lift any color from the fabric. Most fabrics and materials are completely safe from staining after your first shower.
